REFUGEE RIGHTS DAY APRIL 4TH – Group photo in the UC Courtyard at 12:30pm! #ProudToProtectRefugees

Hi all!

If you picked up a bright blue t-shirt from World University Service of Canada in support of our Refugee Rights Day in Canada Campaign, this is a friendly reminder to wear your shirt tomorrow on APRIL 4TH, REFUGEE RIGHTS DAY, so we can show the campus community how we are proud to protect refugees!

We will be taking a group photo TOMORROW in the UC Courtyard at 12:30pm. Please meet us under the East Banner Space (opposite the Brass Taps) and then we can move to the best location for our photo.

It shouldn’t take more than a few minutes! If you have more time, we will also also be taking individual photos, with a whiteboard to show people “To me, Protecting Refugee and Human Rights means …” “I learned that refugees …”, and other messages!  If you can’t make it to the group photo, no worries! Wear your shirt, talk to people about the day, and maybe even take a selfie! Tag any photos, tweets, or facebook posts with #ProudToProtectRefugees or #RefugeeRightsDay, and if you’re on twitter you can mention @WUSCGuelph or @ccrweb to help spread awareness!
